SolarStreetBin™
The SolarStreetBin™ from PEL Waste Reduction Equipment has been designed and developed to save councils, local authorities, property management companies, college campuses etc on the total cost of their litter collection services. The SolarStreetBin™ features an on-board compaction system and a communications module facilitating visibility of bin-fill levels and operational status of the bin. A cloud based wireless monitoring system compiles data from the individual bins and generates collection routes for only those bins which requiring servicing - saving on time, cutting costs and reducing emissions.
The SolarStreetBin™ includes a built-in compaction system which compresses or compacts litter as it is deposited in the bin. This compaction increases the litter holding capacity of the bin by a factor of x10 meaning less collections are required which translates into an overall reduction in the bin servicing costs.
