PEL Waste Reduction Equipment Join Forces with Red Bull Racing to Drive Down Waste Disposal Costs

PEL Waste Reduction Equipment has recently installed a PEL1100BC refuse bin compactor in the headquarters of the Red Bull Formula 1 Racing Team based in Milton Keynes, England.

Red Bull Racing is an Austrian Formula One racing team who believe that whilst science has proven that 0.7 per cent of F1 is glamorous: the rest is long hours and really, really hard work. There's plenty of that at the race track but a whole lot more back at the factory where you hear the heartbeat of Red Bull Racing. PEL Waste Reduction Equipment has joined with Red Bull Racing and installed a PEL1100BC Bin Compactor to reduce their waste disposal costs.

The PEL1100BC bin compactor has been chosen by Red Bull Racing to reduce the physical volumes of waste carbon fibre offcuts generated during the production of F1 cars. This state-of-the-art hydraulic electric bin compactor will generate up to 50% reduction in the volume of these wastes and save Red Bull Racing by reducing the number of waste bins required to manage their wastes, cut the handling costs associated with those bins, allow smaller, cleaner and tidier waste storage areas and contribute to a lower carbon footprint through reduced traffic associated with waste collections.
