John Lewis Partnership London SW1 Store Chooses PEL1500 Baler Recycling Solution

The John Lewis Partnership (JLP) has installed two PEL 1500 High Density Balers in their London SW1 Victoria Street store to reduce their waste disposal costs and environmental impact. One of the PEL 1500 High Density Balers will be used for baling waste cardboard and paper and the second for baling cans which will have contained liquids. The PEL 1500 High Density baler to be used for wet cans has the added feature of a spill tray which will catch any displaced liquid from the cans being baled.  This feature will reduce the risk of accidental spillages, enable the customer to meet best hygiene practices and create a cleaner and safer working environment for their staff.

The PEL 1500 High Density baler is ideal for businesses with medium to large volumes of cardboard, plastic and/or other waste.  It combines the features of a baler and a drum crusher in one low footprint unit and in reducing the volumes of waste materials by over 50%, generates savings on disposal costs, labor costs and on valuable waste storage area.
